How our PETER INFELD® violin strings support you in sounding your best

Our PETER INFELD® strings for violin help you shine in many different ways. The strings are very reliable – and they are a special tool that makes it easy for you to sound great. Among other things, they offer a substantial amount of sound colors, but leave you as a player in control at all times. We developed them with a special silver winding to produce a specific bow noise, which makes your sound shine all the way to the farthest corner of the room. And the PETER INFELD® violin strings are among our most durable strings, too.

This platinum-plated E-string (NO.PI01PT) has a clear & focused sound and is extremely corrosion-resistant if you tend to sweat. However, it whistles a bit more easily than the tin-plated E-string (NO.PI01SN). We recommend it especially for soloists.

Extremely stable tin-plated E-string with the warmest sound among our PETER INFELD® violin E-strings. Easy playability and suitable for very quick playing. However, less corrosion-resistant if you sweat a lot.

This gold-plated E-string sounds very warm and at the same time very clear – but still not uncomfortably loud and overriding. It’s also corrosion-resistant if you sweat, but tends to whistle.

This silver-wound D-string (NO.PI03A) contributes to a rather fine-grained bow noise in combination with the other strings in both sets (NO.PI100 & NO.PI101). If you prefer a coarse-grained sound, you should consider the aluminum-wound D-string (NO.PI03) instead.

This aluminum-wound D-string (NO.PI03) helps produce a rather coarse-grained bow noise in comparison to the silver-wound D-string (NO.PI03A). We recommend the aluminum-wound D-string if your instrument sounds very dark, and for instruments that need extra sound colors.
