We celebrate women luthiers! And support 32 women at the "Celebrate women luthiers" exhibition

Without strong women, Thomastik-Infeld would probably never have become so successful. That's because women have led the way for Thomastik-Infeld from the company's founding.

Margaretha Infeld launched our world-famous Dominant strings in 1970 and, despite initial setbacks in their development, always believed in their success. Today, Zdenka Infeld is the CEO of the company. And the proportion of women in our offices and especially in our workshops is also high: 76% of all employees at Thomastik-Infeld here in Vienna are women.

 

It is a matter of honor that we also support the exhibition "Celebrate women luthiers" by The Huthmaker. We hope that there will be more and more female luthiers in the future and wish the 32 female luthiers in the exhibition every success!
